I’m Lekesha McPhail, PMHNP-BC, founder of The Practice Mentor.
I help healthcare professionals build compliant, sustainable private practices with clarity and confidence. While many are trained to deliver care, few are taught how to navigate the business, regulatory, and operational side of healthcare, where costly mistakes often happen.
With over 13 years of experience in regulated healthcare systems, I bring a clinical foundation paired with hands-on experience in audit, quality improvement, policy development, managed care, and community initiatives. I’ve worked across hospital systems, community health, and private practice, supporting compliance standards, documentation, and program development.
This systems-level perspective allows me to guide practice owners in building businesses that align with how healthcare is evaluated, reimbursed, and regulated, not just how it looks on paper.
